Whoever needs sun protection – can have it: New construction for “BGS” in Wiehl

The administrative building located in Wiehl near Cologne has a curtain wall façade and should provide the user with multi-purpose sun protection. This has been achieved by vertical guiding rails pressed directly to the façade profile in which there are motor-driven louvre blinds. The horizontally suspended extruded aluminium louvres were grouped together into a louvre frame package and can now be motor-driven by the user: either in front of the window area to be shaded or into the “shade/parking position”.
