5 star hotel with “exterior curtains” – textile tension systems in front of the window façade of the Park Hyatt Zurich

The 5 star “Park Hyatt” Hotel in the centre of Zurich protected from the climate by 387 textile sun protection systems. The motor-driven tension systems (approx. 3800 x 3400 mm) concealed in the top of the window façade are equipped with Soltis fabrics from the Soltis 86 product range.

It was particularly complicated to achieve fabric tension with the four parallel cables, which ensure that the fabric is adjusted and tensioned each time the fabric is unrolled by means of a special spring system.
